The Protector Attack 13 ski binding is designed to reduce serious injuries in the knee and cruciate ligament area caused by backwards twisting falls. This is made possible with the Full Heel Release (FHR) technology, a combination of horizontal and vertical release of the heel piece. The Protector Attack 13 compensates for small, short-term forces acting on the binding by moving the binding heel horizontally on both sides by up to 7 mm. If the load is too high in a risky situation, the heel moves the full 7mm and the sole holder pivots 30 degrees to release the ski boot. Compared to conventional bindings, the Protector thus avoids the additional force that causes serious injuries in the area of the knee joint and ligaments by more than half and sets a new standard in terms of safety. The Protector Attack 13 is compatible with Alpine, GripWalk and Touring ski boots thanks to the MN standard. This model combines the best of two worlds - optimal strength and stability of the attack toe combined with full heel release technology for maximum safety when skiing - making it the ideal binding for all freeski and all-mountain athletes.
